Our Story
In response to the current cultural climate of immigration, the Community Ambassadors aim to be a bridge that seeks viable solutions to the pressing issues most affecting Latin American groups. In addition, we strive to dispel fears born from rumors and misinformation by replacing them with verifiable sources through education sessions.
The newly formed Community Ambassadors ministry aims to partner with Ocean County Law Enforcement officials to address current concerns regarding the immigration climate and other Latin American issues.
At the forefront of our mission, we look to grow in cultural competency to maintain a level of sensitivity to the growing Latino community in Ocean County. While at the same time, creating opportunities for collaboration in order to cultivate a sense of belonging.
