A Bit About Me
Anne Nyangaga has been the third President of Community Ambassadors, starting in September of 2025. Prior to taking this role, she was an active member in the club, participating in the organization of club events, volunteering at the Community Adult ESL school, and food pantry.

As president, Anne strives to increase the connections that Community Ambassadors have formed, fostering collaborations among different sections of the Ocean County College campus. Anne has fostered her volunteerism through engagement with Community Ambassadors as well as the OCC on-campus food pantry, Helping Hands. She also draws from her experience in leadership positions in Sigma Kappa Delta (National English Honors society), the Engineering club, The Maker’s Space, and the Viking Video Club.
After growing up in Nairobi, Kenya, Anne moved to Ocean County, New Jersey, and quickly found herself enveloped in new communities. As she adapted to new cultural norms, Anne navigated the intersection of multiple cultures and environments, spending time volunteering and contributing to various clubs on campus. Her passion for helping others, by supporting the growth and development of those around her, has helped Anne foster her problem-solving and communication skills.
